New BlackBerry Pearl to use predictive text input

When the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 hits our shores existing Pearl users may want to note that the European variants are penciled in to be shipped with a predictive text input keypad rather than the suretype keypad.

This could be advantageous to people who want a slim smart phone but couldn’t master the suretype of the previous Pearl models. To those who did master the art then it’s back to the oldskool.

Whether it’s suretype or predictive the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 appears to be pretty impressive and hopefully arrives free of charge on large allowance, low line rental price plans.
