Dell to Streak in June

Here's a first for a while.... The UK to get a new release months before the US!

Dell have announced that they will be launching their new handheld tablet 'Streak' through the O2 network in early June.

The tablet is basically a large mobile phone device which is aimed at entertainment, social connection and navigation market. The screen size is a massive 5 inches, the inbuilt camera is 5 mega pixel and the operating system is Google's Android platform. With fast 3G and WiFi connection the handset will be good for video streaming and heavy duty data files and last but not least you can make and receive voice calls (I mean, who does that nowadays??)

We're unclear whether the new release will be made available through the business channel but our question is, would a business user want one? Without having a play with a pre-release device we're unable to comment but our initial thoughts are that a 5 inche screen device would be rather large for the average user unless you don a dear hunters jacket (we'll dust ours off in anticipation).

As always, any further bits and bobs of information will be communicated here along with the full range of tariffs at
www.onlinebusinessmobiles.com as soon as they are made available by the network
